We are seeking an experienced J-E translator capable of translating earnings releases, business reports, annual reports, investor guides and other IR collateral to a high quality.
[Prerequisites]
The applicant must be a native English speaker living in Japan.
The applicant must have Level 1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test or an equivalent level of Japanese ability.
The applicant must have at least two years' experience translating financial and securities documents such as annual reports in a professional setting.
[Remuneration]
Competitive remuneration based on industry standards, experience and skill
Annual remuneration review in October, with new remuneration paid from the following month
Social insurance (employee pension insurance, health insurance, employment insurance, workers' compensation insurance)
Commuting allowance (up to 100,000 yen/month)

Headquarters: Kaigan, Minato-ku, Tokyo
8 minutes by shuttle bus from Tamachi Station, Yamanote Line, JR East
Work hours: 09:30 to 18:30. Some overtime is necessary.

Publicly listed companies disseminate corporate information, financial statements, analysis of financial position, PR documents and other information to investors on a regular basis. The volume of information distributed by companies typically peaks around June every year when most Japanese companies hold their annual general meetings.
Translated documents are used for producing IR collateral ranging from earnings releases to business reports, annual reports and investor guides.
This IR collateral is distributed by corporate clients to shareholders and other investors throughout the world. Your work will thus help Japanese-listed companies to communicate with investors worldwide.
