Personal Information Protection Policy
As a company engaged in IR communications, General Solutions, Inc. (the "Company") properly manages information in observance with laws and regulations.
In this context, the Company recognizes that the safeguarding of personal information is crucial to its business activities and that its proper handling and secure management are important social responsibilities.
In order to ensure that it fulfills these responsibilities, the Company has established the following Personal Information Protection Policy. This policy serves to guide the Company's efforts to properly handle, manage and maintain personal information.
1. The Company will clearly prescribe the purpose for obtaining personal information within the scope of legitimate business activities and will obtain such information by lawful and fair means only after notifying or announcing the purpose of use in advance.
2. The Company will use personal information only within the scope of purpose of use notified or announced in advance. Furthermore, except as specially provided for in laws or regulations, the Company will not supply personal information to third parties beyond the scope necessary for achieving the specified purpose of use.
3. The Company may consign the handling of personal information to third parties within the scope necessary for achieving the specified purpose of use. In such a case, the Company will properly oversee third parties as necessary and conclude a contract with said consignee or require a written oath.
4. The Company will strictly manage personal information handled, as well as implement appropriate measures to prevent the unauthorized disclosure, loss or other mishandling of said personal information or take remedial measures in such an eventuality.
5. The Company will comply with laws and regulations, government policy and other standards regarding personal information protection.
6. The Company will sincerely and quickly respond to inquiries regarding the handling of personal information and requests for the provision of personal information held from the person concerned.
7. The Company will establish a management system for safeguarding personal information, ensure all employees observe it, and regularly review and improve the system.
